One-percent donors are those who give a minimum of 1 percent of their annual earnings to the EcF. These are individuals who give more than £500 per annum, by either setting up a standing order with their bank, or by signing up to a scheme run by their employers called “Give as you earn”. Give as you earn is a contribution directly from your wage slip, and therefore saves you 25% tax on the amount you donate. One-percent’ers are the backbone of the Foundation. Their contributions help us build up our unrestricted corpus fund, which then supports pioneering research, innovative institutes, and influential organisations.
By donating more than £500 per annum makes you automatically an Earth-er. Earth-ers are signed up to our updates and invited to attend our annual meeting in the city of London, with an opportunity to meet the team, project beneficiaries, and other Earth-ers..
A well wisher at EcF is someone who makes a one-off donation or monthly donations that amount to £500 per year, or less.
Well wishers play a critical role in building up our unrestricted corpus fund, which then supports pioneering research, innovative institutes, and influential organisations.
Well wishers will receive an annual newsletter to keep you updated.
A Patron is someone who donates £25,000 or more to the EcF. EcF has Patrons from all over the world. By becoming a Patron, you join an exclusive community of High-Net-Worth Individuals who truly care for people and planet. These are ambassadors of the EcF who meet once a year to network and learn about the work EcF has been supporting. They also give valuable input to future direction of our work.
To leave a legacy behind to the EcF is one of the greatest gifts you can give to a community. We have people who have kindly decided to leave a percentage of their estate to the EcF in their wills. If this is something you would like to consider, please contact us and we will help you navigate this important decision.
Legacy giving entitles people all access to the work of the EcF. We are deeply thankful to all our Legacy givers.
Corporate support is when you donate through your business. Often corporate support takes the form of sponsorships for projects and events. Our corporate support can range from as little as £10,000 to £1,000,000 depending on the scope of the sponsorship.
Corporate donors get complete access to the work of the EcF.
You can help our work by providing venues for events, offering services through your business such as catering, printing, marketing or volunteering your time and professional services such as legal, accounting or clerical help.
