Shalet is a founding trustee of the EcF. Shalet leads the compliance team and financial due diligence at the EcF. He also sits on the Investment Committee. Shalet is the Chief Financial Officer at a large private equity backed manufacturing business.
Shilpa is a founding trustee of the EcF. She has been instrumental in setting the direction of the foundation. Shilpa has oversight of the fund raising arm of the EcF. Professionally Shilpa is a Partner at a large financial firm in the City of London.
Sachin is a trustee of Earth Charitable Foundation. He cares deeply about sustainability, and is the founder, a trustee and Director-General of the International Centre for Sustainability (ICfS), one of the institutions EcF supports.
Sachin has more than ten years’ experience in private equity, covering capital raising, investment and exits. He has served on several boards as an executive and non-executive director, advising on growth, buy-and-build strategies, capital structure and entry into new markets. In 2018, India Global magazine named him one of its top 100 influencers pioneering UK–India relations. He is also a Penguin author: his biography, Hedgewar, was published by Penguin in 2025.
Nilesh is Head of Philanthropy and Digital, bringing more than 25 years of senior technology leadership. He recently served as the UK Power Platform Centre of Excellence Lead at a Big Four firm. He sits on the board for Avanti Schools Trust and also founded the PwC Hindu Network, the first Hindu professional network in the City of London.
At EcF, he leads fundraising strategy and digital capability, building partnerships with donors who share the Foundation’s values.
